Onyx Group’s DataBanx hosting and hosting applications provides BCC with alternative hosting sites, on line backup – and a variety of applications such as Double-Take and neverfail – to ensure organisations do not lose data. Onyx works with IBM maintenance provider BlueChip to provide effective solutions for IBM mid-range servers.

Onyx Group’s Askaris security solutions provides BCC with a range of security solutions from employee screening to interim CIOs. The Group can provide a full service covering resilience, business continuity, disaster recovery and crisis management on personnel issues. For places Onyx provides security planning via Praetorian for resilience, through temporary security cover for crisis management. We advise on the best approaches to promote resilience. For products Onyx has a unique approach to understanding the globalisation related security issues of product and supply chain management in an electronic environment. For processes Onyx provide design and architectural network security services, enterprise threat management and post-event security shut-downs. Onyx has a crisis team available that deals with significant post-event and post-audit security requirements. Onyx works with industry-leading Guardium to provide advanced and SOX compliant database security, with Checkpoint and Tufin to provide secure firewalls and firewall management, with AppSense and Mobilegov to lock-down PC security and with a range of suppliers, including Message Labs and Sophos, to provide other enterprise security solutions.
